Brock Lesnar Will Defend His Heaveyweight Title Against Shane Carwin at UFC 116!

So the battle of Goliaths is set; Shane Carwin will be fighting Brock Lesner on July 3 in Las Vegas at UFC 116. This fight will probably be a slug-fest where both fighters have bombs in there striking strength, and iron in there hands. Most likely when both fighters are great collage wrestlers, there skills even out and they resort to boxing and brawling this will probably be the case when the two meat at UFC 116.

The challenger Shane Carwin put on a great show of punching power when he defeated Frank Mir on March 27. Shane out boxed Mir and Shane became the Interim title winner do to a reff stoppage. At the end of the fight Lesner came into the cage and had a stare down with Shane, But Shane did not get in a battle of the words with Lesner.

“The Engineer” knows he has a lot of work to do if he wants to beat Brock. Brock has devastating ground and pound, and he is very fast, Brock is clearly the fastest fighter in the heavy weight division. Lesner will be returning back to the octagon after going through a very bad stomach virus, witch put him in the hospital and almost ended not only his fighting career but also his life. While Lesner was rehabbing and battling his virus, he lost almost 50 pounds dropping down to 235 pounds. He has now regained his weight and has stated numerous times that he feels greats and weights 270 pounds.

The last time Lesner fought was at UFC 100 when he took on Frank Mir, and demolished him. Lesner took Frank down to the ground and landed some serious bombs to franks face witch left frank smashed, mashed, and crashed. Frank had bruises and cuts all over his face, Frank lost to Lesner by a tko in the second round. With a new diet, and a new training cramp Lesner is looking and feeling better then he has ever had, I expect to see the best of Lesner when he defends his title against Shane at UFC 116.
